Issuing in the New Trade Floor....
I have long been of the notion that there is really not that much value in trade rooms. In truth some of the best ones are free. You have to find them but the reality is that my experience in trading has shown me that free trading is really the best. Consequently that is why I keep my blog free. The trades that come out of there are pretty good. I am sure that anyone who is a swing trader could attest to that if they executed the trades. However herein lies the conundrum. If it is "free" then surely there is no value there right?
Well you could say that and you might be right. After all if someone is a true master their time is worth a lot right.
Perhaps this is true but in reality what is a master trader? There are millions of traders around the world and yet statistics tell us that the vast majority still lose. How can you be good at something if you lose consistently. Once again that is the conundrum. You don't know because most systems that are good lose more than they win but that is precisely the point. By losing it keeps you in the game.
I still feel that the industry as a whole is nothing more than a casino that has scammed more people out of more money over the years than can be calculated. I don't think that I would be out of line (even without true statistics) to say that hundreds of billions have been given up by people looking for the holy grail.
Day trading is NOT for the weak of constitution. You will lose. I can assure you of that. Quite consistently too. So if you are the person who cringes at loss and is sqeeky tight with your money, this is NOT the place for you.
As I mentioned (and I have been saying this for a while lol) the new year will issue in a new web site linked to my blog where you will be able to trade with me. Daily.
What should you expect from the room that is not already out there?
Nothing. Plain and simple. It will be a place of like minded people who will share their trade ideas of the day. How you do is how you manage your trades. You can watch me and try to do the same. Whether you will or not depends on a lot of variables. None of which I can control.
However I wanted to make the room accessible to all. What does that mean.
1) a) I will only be charging $50.00 US per month. Less than a cup of coffee per day. (If you can't afford that you shouldn't be trading).
b) The other alternative is I thought about charging 20% of your profits as this is what I have always charged for managing accounts. This way if you don't make money you don't pay. Say you do $100.00 a month, well that is $20.00. What is good about this way is YOU don't pay unless you make money. The problem with this is honesty. I would like to think that most people would be honest but well experience has taught me that most are not (no offense intended).
2) It will be based on a number of systems that I have worked with for years. They are profitable over time. All of them. No you can't find them elsewhere. If you could they likely wouldn't be profitable. I think I have learned a thing or two over seventeen years so check it out.
3) Trials will be free. 1 week.
4) You will get trades in stocks, options and futures. Mostly futures though. I stick to one or two markets that I know VERY well. It is not smart to do too much of anything else because you will get confused.
5) The entries will be clear, consistent, and come with stops and profit targets. No BS. No lightning entries that only a high frequency trader could get. No multiple calls where it is confusing and no false points and hypothetical results. You will clearly see ahead of time where to enter and where to exit. Plus you will see my own trade on screen.
6) The room will be generally open from 0230 in the morning until 0530 and then 0800 until 1430 or 1530 if there is a reason or a trade is in play. I will leave NO trader behind.
7) You will learn strategies that you can apply and do on your own. I look at the market very differently than most traders. Some call it voodoo while others call it crystal ball. It is neither. It is learning how to spot the set up. It takes time. It takes patience and most of all you won't always be right. Your brain becomes the algo.
8) Like anything you can't cherry pick the trades so don't try. Take them all, wins or losses. If you try to pick the ones that look good (which I have heard many people say) or (ones you don't like) you run the risk of allowing your defense mechanism to make your choices. Not smart in trading.
9) You will learn the right times of day to trade and more importantly what to trade when.
10) You will get constant commitment from me. Day in and day out I will be there for you. You will learn how to do research and you will become a good analyst. Not a perfect one but a good one.
11) This is a little bonus but the site will have all links to resources I use, some entertainment to pass the time and some social media if that is your cup of tea. No I won't be selling anything and if I do I will let you know rather than clicking on some link that I have set up to benefit myself by being a shady affiliate. No surprises.
Anyway I look forward to your reaction and your participation. I think that when all is said and done you will find it to be the best value you ever got for whatever you pay. That is my own opinion but I think that you will become successful.
Wishing you well.
