Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to You and Yours....

Alright. Another year has come and gone. It seems like it was just yesterday that it turned 2019.
Are you better off?
Are you enjoying your life?
Are you staying as positive as you can in a rather negative environment?
Are you cultivating more good friends and family?
In case you are wondering this is a shortlist based on a lot of different studies over the years that essentially tell you the way to a good life. You'll note that in this list nowhere do you see me ask you if you were financially richer.
At this time of year, I simply want to wish you and yours all the very best over the holidays. Reflect on where you have been and where you want to go. Change for the better only happens if you take the right positive steps so take some time and map out a plan. Not for a time in the future that you think you might be able to do the plan but rather a plan you can follow next year.
There is a lot of talks right now on recessions, depressions, and collapses.
I wouldn't pay too much attention to these warnings. If any of them happen there isn't much we can do about it anyway and it is no one's fault. Not the rich, the poor or anyone else. These things just happen sometimes and life goes on. Times are no more tough than they always have been and we can only do our part to try and make the world and our existence a better place.
I think that the future is bright for most and that given time we will make the world a good place for all to live. It keeps getting better every year as more people try to do things to help our planet. We already know the secret to wealth. That is to help as many people as we can so that we may get back the fruits of our labor.
I wish you all health, happiness, and prosperity in the new year. I wish you only the best and I pray that you will do all you can to lay a good foundation for future generations. If you are in the over 55 group like me then you owe it to the younger generations to do whatever you can to make their lives as good as yours. You likely worked hard all your life and now is the time to give back to your family, friends, and community.
Take some time this holiday to reflect on how good you really do have it compared to most people. Give thanks for the little things that you sometimes take for granted. Reach out to someone less fortunate than yourself and do a good turn for them. All good actions produce more good actions. Forgive those who may have at some point transgressed against you. Forget the negative actions of thoughtless people and move ahead with a smile and positive energy.
Blessings to you and yours and stay tuned to my 2020 predictions. As always they will be different from what you read in the mainstream.
