Oil and Gas...

Well we were able to pick up 70 ticks from the initial bounce off my areas from oil. I still say that this is a strong reversal area and am sticking to it. Sure you might get a ramp either way and it would not be surprising giving the algo's and the people that rig this casino. However how far do you think its going to go. 65, 75, 85? Please! It might if enough people were short but I strictly doubt it.
Here at the pumps at Picton, ON I drove by and noticed that the price of gas is now 111.00 a litre. Why?
Anyone's guess. As 50% of the price goes to the governments bloated coffers I suspect that this has a lot to do with it. After all we need to cut astronomically high hydro prices but hmmmm....lets see where can we add more cost where consumers won't mind?
Ahhh....gas prices. That's the ticket. Ok let's see where can we put them up to. "Frank get the dart board of pricing out and let's see what we hit today".
Seems that this is the mentality of it all. I would be socked if it were anything more difficult than what I described. It makes no sense what so ever. It was the same price when oil was 90 a barrel as it is now.
Oh sure they'll put a spin on it that we don't control pricing and oil is very volatile. BS is what I say.
This is a very large industry and a number of people manipulate it at YOUR cost to make sure they get their capital flows. Call it gouging, highway robbery, theft, grand larceny or whatever you want. Sorry folks but you take it up you know where every single day and it won't stop unless you say something.
Like fat government pensions, bloated salaries and overpaid government workers it won't stop until you say something. I assure you. Do you know of anyone who deliberately cuts their own throat? I don't either.
This is inflationary pressure ok. Caused by central banks and big banks with bail out money. However YOU pay for it and continue to pay for it so that fat bonuses can be collected and so that industry can be supported of course by YOU. After all it benefits you right? Ya, sure. How many big yachts have you bought lately? About as many as I have.
Here in Ontario the premiere is finally listening to the screaming people in relation to exorbitant hydro costs. This from a country that exports most of its hydro and oil.
I'll tell you why.
There is a fellow that works for hydro just down the street from me. He is nothing more than a lineman ok. Guess what his salary is?
125,000.00
Read that again and let it sink in. With all the perks you could ask for in union bargains. You know medical benefit. 5% top up from employer matching the workers contribution to his pension (that is an extra 5% salary just for reference) and a host of other benefits too large and long for me to comment on here.
Now here is the catch. You have other people with about the same education and slightly less qualifications working at McDonalds and Subway making 11.00 to 15.00 an hour living paycheck to paycheck. WTF? Farms that actually produce something only able to pay their employees 11 to 14 an hour to be able to compete.
Do you see how the thievery takes place?
It boggles my mind most of the time. Kids flipping billions of dollars around in the open markets making a fortune while your local farmer works his ass off for diddly squat. If you think that this is right or fair you need to become more informed. This is wrong. Plain and simple. It is the same as the wealthy borrowing large amounts of Fed produced money and next to nothing so that they can buy up businesses that do produce something or land that won't lose its value. It is completely insane, but yet these people seem to have limitless access to cheap capital while the hard working man has none. I know that you have heard this many times but I think it is time that it really sunk in. You are being raped wholesale and you don't fight back. What kind of person lets themselves be abused like this. Anyway just my rant for today but it bears rehashing this ridiculous ponzi scheme.
