Snap Chat Purchases Large Company....

I have written extensively about this in the past and I will say it again. You need to care deeply about where your profits come from and what you choose to invest in. Case in point is this article. I like Money Morning but this stuff makes me sick to my stomach.

Useless social media platform after releasing useless IPO buys a company that actually can and does produce something of value. That is exactly what Snapchat did. Exactly as I said it would and exactly in the form that I said would take place.
       How did I know this?
Well that is exactly what other useless social media outlets did. Like Facebook for example. It was grossly overvalued because of course lots of people go there. So now it competes with Google, Apple, Cisco and other technology titans for the same opportunities and the same space.
Don't get me wrong competition is good in certain ways. It allows newer and more cost effective products to be brought to the market at lower and lower prices.
However this business model is as flawed as central banks printing money and giving it directly to the middle man (which is the banks of course).
So now you have another useless behemoth and a couple of very rich guys who produced the platform to distract even more people and waste even more people's time. I mean really what in hell does it produce that is of any intrinsic value at all?
    The answer is nothing.
There are internet inventions that are truly remarkable and technological advances that are quite amazing but the likes of SNAP (as it is listed on the exchange) will always be a form of garbage to me. All it does is empower people to continue to steal from one another through identity theft and selling garbage products that generally help on the people selling them. I think we have enough of that crap already. I mean how many times can you flip the same products at the lowest price possible? Just a stupid business model, much like Walmarts. If lowering ones standard of living and selling junk was the way to help humanity then I would be writing nothing but sparkling reviews of all these companies that do this. However very few of them do.
The idea is to get an enormous following, by offering them a bunch of freebies and then figuring out how to best monetize the site. It reeks of scam to me. However in the new normal this seems to be a great business model.
World changing businesses that level the playground are few and far between. Ones that truly enrich our lives are even more rare. So be careful who and what you give your hard earned money to. Cheers!
